Panera on Ninth Street will donate a portion of sales on October 25th to the EK Powe PTA.

Come meet other Powe families and celebrate the start of the school year!

All are welcome. The event is free to attend. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

• When: Saturday, October 14, from 1pm-5pm

• Location: Durty Bull (206 Broadway St #104, Durham, NC 27701) is generously donating their space and sharing 10% of sales during that time with the Powe PTA.  Thank you, Durty Bull!  

• What: Games, sidewalk chalk and crafts, EK Powe performances and other live musics, and hang out with friends and classmates

Join us to help spread mulch in the Peace Garden and other parts of the grounds.

We need wheelbarrows to borrow! If you can’t join in for the mulching but have a wheelbarrow we can use, please label it with your name and drop it in the Peace Garden anytime before Saturday.

National Bike & Walk to School Day

Buses will be rerouted to unload students at Oval Park to participate in the event.  A walker group (following this route)  and a biker group (following this route) will travel to school, starting at 7:30am.

We are excited to photograph your family this fall !!

Our traditional Family Portrait Fundraising sessions will be held Saturday, Sept 30, 3-6 pm and Sunday, October 1, 9 am - 4 pm at EK Powe.

After signing up, you will receive an email that will help you to have the best family portraits. You will also receive an email with an invoice to make your $30 donation to the PTA.

Within two weeks after your portrait session, you will receive an email with a link to a password protected gallery of your family’s portraits.  You will have 20-40 images from your session.  You will have the option to purchase the entire gallery of digital files ($295), individual digital files ($50), and prints which start at $15.
